2019 TITLETOWN CHAMPIONS

Coming off a tourney win at the Predraft Showcase, the Titans came into this one with the same energy. Advancing to playoff Sunday with a 3-0 record, the Titans were given a bye in the first round. To begin Sunday, the Titans took on the Mass Edge eventually skating to a 3-0 win, backboned by goaltender Ben Joiner. After watching the Boston Knights upset the Tropics in what seemed to be a gimme win for the Tropics, the Titans were handed the Knights to see who will claim the Titletown cup. Yet again posting zero goals against was Ben Joiner leading the Titans to a 4-0 win which was an anticlimactic game, to say the least. For the second time this summer, the Titans were crowned champions, and move on to the Chowder cup with a perfect 11-0 record. See you in July for the biggest one of them all.

2019 PREDRAFT SHOWCASE CHAMPIONS

May 10-12th

A hot start to the 2019 summer as our group of 12 players claim the College Open Championship at the Predraft Showcase! After going 3-0 in pool play by convincingly taking down DMV Prospects and Northern Vermont Wildcats, while squeaking out a 2-1 win against Elite Hockey Battalion, the Titans were heating up heading into playoff Sunday. To the final morning with an early bird special at 7am, the Titans defeated the North American Bobcats in a chippy matchup, 4-0. In the semifinals, a late snipe a few strides over the blue line by Jack Dempsey sent the Titans onto the championship game, beating Canada West 3-1. And for the finals, it was a back and forth contest against the Roc City Elite Young Guns. Goals by Mike Tersoni, Jack Dempsey, and Bryan Decristoforo allowed the Titans to take this one to OT. Only 4 minutes in, Dillon Arno who has seen success in OT before, buried the game winning goal with a great feed from brother Al, to cap off a huge tournament win and made up for his prior play on defense. Joe Sharib came up huge making timely saves, with a massive one to keep the puck out of the back of the net right at the start of the OT period. Jack Dempsey was selected as tournament MVP, while forward Joe Noone, defenseman James Jackson, and goaltender Joe Sharib, were selected for respective position, all-tournament team status. If anything, this was truly a Titan-esk win, and we are looking forward for what is to come.
